Rust Color Spots

Through the winter I have noticed small rust color spots starting to appear on my bumper. I was able to work some out but was just try with windex. Not easy work. Any ideas on the best product to clean that up.

We always use WD40 and SOS pads on the Fire trucks.

really fine steel wool is amazing guys, puts a mirror finish on the chrome but you just have to put a sealer on it or something afterwards
before

after

Theres a product out there called Nevr-Dull. its a metal wading polish and it cleans and takes off small rust spots. not as good as the steel wool that rollerstud uses

thanks

Blue Magic. Comes in a tube and leaves a silicon barrier behind. Just don't use harsh detergents when washing (Auto Car Washes). Touch up as needed. Polishes chrome really nice.

Edit: this is once the major blemishing has been removed. I would avoid steel wool at all costs, too abrasive. Maybe a polishing compound or so. Even with steel wool though, the Blue Magic is good stuff after it is cleaned up.

Dang Roller that thing is bright. Because of the winter salt and the junk that chips the inside and collects holding moisture I did this last spring http://good-times.webshots.com/photo...94070327CHhVgf

It's just the NAPA stuff in a can. It's holding very well.

the steel wool i use is extremely fine, i use it to sand cabinet doors that i am lacquering when they have designs in them, it takes down the bumps without breaking the edge, i'll do my 350's bumper tomorrow and post some pics of how it comes out for you guys
