I have a 2000 f-250 7.3 and am having problems with the idle.
I also have a Superchips 1750 MAX tuner that will read codes.
The codes that I got were:
1) P0478
2) P0470
3) P01211
What do these codes mean and what do I do next.

No, I was thinking of taking it in some place again.
The last time I took it in for the same problem it cost me 1400$.
And I still have the same problem, the dealer wanted to change the hpop next.( another 1000$)
I told him I would hold off.he told me that after he changed out the computer and some censors it would run good.
1400$ later and a truck that ran like cr@p, I did not want him to touch my truck any more.

Aren't you having some veggie oil issues also?
Couple of ways to monitor it
1, Scanner like AutoEnginuity that can read live data
2. Mechanical gauge in the HPO rail plug (needs to be rated for over 3000psi).
2 items that come into play are the ICP (injection control pressure) sensor and IPR (injection pressure regulator). ICP tells the PCM what the rail pressure is and the PCM Commands the IPR to increase/dump pressure depending on pedal input and load.
With it only occuring once warmed up makes me think fluid issue instead of a sensor. What all did they do when you took it in? if they did not change the IPR check here http://cw-diesel.com/LuxSite/IPRInfo.htm
Thanks and yes, I am the guy that runs veggie oil.
The problem is that when it is running on veggie it runs fine.
I will check out the other site.
you don't think that the injectors are bad,
i only have 130000 miles on the truck,
I am not much of a wrench when it comes to my truck, I wish that there was someone close to me that was good with a wrench. I live in wisconsin Germantown.
It could, but 130K is young for the injectors unless they have ingested really bad oil or fuel. I would try to verify that the ICP, IPR, HPOP, and fuel pressure (while on dino) are all within specs before looking at an injector though.
There are a couple of WI guys on here but not real sure where in WI.
