How Do I Remove Shifter ****
I bought a replacement shifter **** for my 2003 F150, but I can't seem to unscrew the one that is currently on there. It's a standard not automatic. Does it unscrew? Any ideas. Thanks.

It doesn't unscrew.....It's just pressed on and will probably be realllly tight. Sometimes what works is clamping visegrips on the **** then hitting up on them with a hammer. I've also had to cut the **** nearly off with a hacksaw before it would come off with a hammer.

new style. Just wanted to touch up a few items. Some of the aftermarket shifters are really stylish..

How Do I Remove Shifter ****
I've seen ***** like this on newer dodges and old rangers...the plate on top that has the gear numbers on it might pop off and there might be a screw under it to loosen. I'm not sure but try anyway.
