coolant whats going on

Drained my factory orange coolant 5 gallon bucket about overflowed filled it up with water and drained it again poured the exact same amount of green peak performance in everything good. Going through my chilton it says the coolant capacity is 33 qaurts so it sound like theres 3 gallons of the factory orange init if my math is correct. I havent started it yet should I or should I drain it again thanks

It's almost impossible to get ever single bit out, but you can get a lot closer by pulling the plugs out of the block, you leave almost all the antifreeze in the block when you just drain the radiator. And when you switch types of coolant like you did you need to not only drain it but flush it with distilled water at least once, run it and redrain it before putting in the new coolant. question is why are you going to green, you have to check teh SCA's with that and add the additives to keep them up. I switched from the green to the GO5 gold to get away from that.
