have you tried replacing the belt?, which pulley is the squeaker? does it squeel at start up or at full steering lock? rub some lava soap on the belt.

New belt? Also might try taking the belt off and check the pulleys to see if any are bad. I had a tensioner that got weak and so it would bounce around a little bit while the engine was idling, causing a squeak. Replaced the tensioner, belt, and idler pulley which was well on its way to going bad. No more squeak. I've also heard really good things about the gatorback belts and how they cure squeaks in some of these trucks. Good luck!

Every time I have tried lubricating my serpentine belt it just makes it worse. I have always just replaced them. I would get a belt from NAPA because they are a better quality and last longer. The ones that stores like schucks sell are not very good.

if the pulleys are out of alignment it will squeek. i've got an '88 that the idler wore down enough that it'll make the belt squeall like crazy

Clean the pulleys with a wire brush and evaporative solvent (such as non-chlorinated brake cleaner) and spray down the belt with the engine running with the same brake cleaner. DO NOT use any sort of belt dressing or lube. Slipping = squeaks. As someone else said, if none of that works, nor does a new belt, try putting on a new tensioner. One time I did all that and my belt STILL squeaked, but when the alternator died and I replaced it, the squeak went away (kept the pulley, though, new was wrong size). So it can be an individual component, too.
