how to get more power!!!!!!!

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 11-Oct-02 AT 11:39 PM (EST)]Hey, I have a 1990 Bronco (351 V8). So far all it has done to it is a set of power pulleys and, a flow master exhaust. I want more power and tourge. Mostly tourqe. I was wondering what would be the best way to do this. What product will give me the most for my money?? THANKS!!

What size tires do you have? If you have a lift and are running larger tires one of the best upgrades you could do is to re gear your bronco. The lower the gears the more pulling power you will have. But if you go to low you could effect your gas mileage and your highway cruising speed or top end. I know this upgrade doesnt actualy add horsepower to your motor but it lets you take better advantage of what power you have now. Im sure if you search around on the web you can find the chart for gear to tire size ratio.

Might not be worth the money with 33 inch tires. You would notice a difference if you switched to a 4.10 gear ratio. I run 35 inch tires and am going to run a 4.56 gear ratio. Gears in my opinion are one of the best upgrades you can do expecialy if you are running bigger tires. You can put all the money in the world into your motor but if it is not hitting the right rpms in your power curve before shifting into the next gear your missing maximum horsepower and torque
