Electrical problems

I have a 1999 f-150 5.4L extended cab 4x4 and my cruise control does not work and sometimes my windshield wipers come on by there self. Does anyone know if these are related and what the fix might be?

They, most likely, are NOT related although it might be possible.

First, what is the status of your cruise recall?

Second, has it been raining (or melting snow/ice) recently?
