Remember that 1 bad report does not mean catastrophe. Iron could be cylinder walls, excessive idleing can increase the iron content. 30's are not good but you are no where near that 130's posted a few days ago. I run DELO and get excellent UOA's
Those number, with the exception of Iron, really look fairly good. Silicone is a tad high but that will deffinately drop in the next sample with that 6637. I wouldnt worry to much resample at the next OCI and see if the iron has come back down.
I can attest to this. I just changed my oil at 3900 miles 2 weeks ago after literally idleing in the truck for 5 HOURS non stop in a winter snow strom 2.5 weeks ago. Took me 5 hours to travel a 25 min route due to the roads, well actually other people could not go...Anyhow, I have always ran 15W40 Rotella and all my readings have always been great, till last one. Iron was 31 with only 3900 miles, and they asked if I did heavy towing this round or something... Came from idleing for 5 hours at speeds under 2MPH. I had to keep trans in neutral while sitting to keep it from overheating...Long story short, I knew that could not have been good on the rig, thus I changed oil and results showed it was hard on betsy!!
My guess is that the Dreaded Filter let some amount of dust in and the rings scraped a little more of the cylinder walls off than they normally would have. Keeping good oil and clean air should solve it all for you, and I suspect that your next analysis will be absolutely normal.
You have to be a "Supporter" to post results in the form of an attachment. On the other hand, if you can take your PDF file and convert it to a picture (.jpg), you can post it in your gallery for reference.
Word to the wise, though... if your sensitive about letting your ersonal information like your home address hit the public internet forums, you'll need to somehow white-out that portion of your results on the PDF or JPG file before inserting it in your gallery. Otherwise, we might all start showing up at your place for refreshments.
