Can You Please Help Me

Well, i have a 2004 f-150 stx 4.6 v8. i was reading the owners manual and it said that the odometer can say how many miles you have left on the tank of gas, what direction you are going, etc. Well i can't find the damn buttom can someone give me an answer. and yes i know it is probably the stupidest question ever.

I don't know much about the STX's, but it should all be where the odometer and trip odometer are. My XLT shows mileage, temp & direction all in the same window with the button right next to that one window.

Maybe the STX doesn't have those functions you mentioned. I know the Lariats have all that info, and my XLT (just below Lariat) does not.

The Owners Manuals tend to cover all models (cost savings to Ford).

Edit: Here's a pic of an eBay listing. I think your STX will not have a button, because it only shows Total Mileage and Trip

Press and hold.

Edit: Here's one with the trip computer.

It is going to depend on whether or not you have that available on the model you bought, just cuz the owners manual says somthing about it doesn't mean that your truck has it, check on that first. Then try the button right there in the display area and see what that does.

I wish I had that fancy gauge also. My 05 F150 XLT has just the plain gauge in the right hand corner (like the one in the previous pic)

-17 is a tad bit cold. It's the 35-45 below windchill that starts to get to ya.
