Question

Trans temp probe

I did a search on this and cant' find which thread i was looking for. There was a pic of the side of the trans that I think was put in there by one of the techs? If I remember it right there is a bolt right above the pan that the probe can go into?? Please correct me if I am wrong! DidI just say that??

There is a 1/8" NPT dryseal pipe plug on the driver's side of the trans, above the pan, towards the front of the trans. That's where the temp probe goes.

That's what I thought, looked under truck and seen the plug, but wanted to double check before I did anything. Thanks Casey!
