I did the Zoodad mod and it wasn't for me. I ended up blockin it back up as soon as the first rain hit. I live in Seattle and we get alot of rain. It allowed water inside the intake and soaked the front part of my filter. I even had a screen over it to help keep out water/debrit out.
You will not notice any difference with the Zoodad mod, other than a wet/dirty filter. If you are looking for a smoother idle, less turbo lag, and better acceleration I would get an Intake Elbow. I put one on about a month ago from Intakeelbows.com and it's great!
There is an article in Diesel Power magazine that indicates a 9hp increase on the Dyno.
