05 for $32large
looking at an 05 F250 Lariat 4x4 Crew fx4 6.0 and the dealer thinks he's giving me a deal at $32,495. on Edmonds used car appraiser i get about 30 retail. Am i missing something. I even added options im not sure the truck has like lsd. oh its got 46000 miles which is a $1400 deduction. It looks like new though.

The problem with used vehicles, you never know what the dealer gave the previous owner in trade or whatt he dealer has into the vehicle. Examples would be conditioning or any repairs.
The truck seems to be about $4k too high. Is it a Certified Pre Owned? You pay more for that. I would plan on paying no more than $27K for the truck. $28K if it is perfect.

one the price is to high. captchas's 05 sc, swb, lariat v10 auto,25k on the clock "38k sticker when new" was traded in back in december for $21.800 and resold the very next day for $24.995, not bad for the dealer to sit on for 1 day. so maybe 28k for the diesel would be more realistic in price for the 46K. but then dealers are getting super greadie on used psd powered rides all thinking they have gold sitting there.
www.motorcraft.com make up a log in. top of page 1 is a red area, click on tech resources. next page for $9.95 you can buy a 3 day log in pass. get alot of information plus the oasis report with out asking the dealer and tripping them off to your checking in about the truck or car. same for the carcheck get the vin buy the information then if it all passes go and hagle big time. knowing first hand you not being bs'd by the dealer/salesman.

I paid $31.5k after rebates for a $43k sticker... I think you can get him to do alot better than that.
