86 Bronco Vin? info....
Hey all,
I've been around this site for a while, and got lots of help for my F250 390 stuff. I just picked up a 86' Bronco XLT, auto, 4 WD, it is supposed to have a 351. So far I have not found a vin decoder for this year. It is in pretty good shape but needs a few things...... Steering is abit loose, looks like the box, everything else looks tight, while rocking the steering wheel. Anything you can tell me about this guy is appreciated. Vin #1FMDU15H5GLA9xxxx

The H means you got a 351W 4V Ho just like my 86
The codes for axles and gears is on the tag in the drivers side door fram rear near the latch.
If you have the manuel or a chilton it has all the codes with the exception of engine my chilton doesnt show H as an option in 86
but then the book is from 94 so maybee they fixed it.
