Oil?
I have a 2006 F-150 5.4L 3.73, what kind of oil do yall recommend?

MC 5w-20 synthetic blend from Walmart, $9 and change for the 5 qt jug, MC 820S filter and two more qts if you have the 5.4.

Hey guys...newbie here....I have 05' 4.6 3.55's......should I use the same oil or go something like a 5W 30??

Use what Ford specs. MC 5w-20 meets the Ford Spec. 5w-30 does not. Why put yourself in a position if an issue comes up and they use the oil weight as an out.
Even though there is no problem using 5w-30 why use it?
I do admit the only reason Ford specs as alot of other manufacturers now do, 5w-20 is due to CARB fuel economy and emission standards. They still spec it so use what they spec.

Just wondering have any of you guys stocked up on filters from Fleet filters(or somthing like that), and if so, how much does it cost, and for how many?
