coolant treatment

well i got me a bottle of wix coolant treatment for the diesel, it says 1 pint treats 20 gallons. so how many gallons is our cooling system?

Usually 32 litres or 8 gallons including the overflow tank.

Get individual SCA test strips too from IH or NAPA......

well i got the wix test strips the ph level and the freeze level is oky but the nitrate is not in the right zone, i guess i just pour in a forth of the bottle run it and test it again?

Drain some coolant out and mix with it then pour it back in. You don't want to just pour the additive in the the coolant system straight out of the bottle. It won't mix up right.

this is why i added the coolant filter to my truck keeps it clean and adds the conditioner for me and mixes it correctly
