hay guys i posted a little while ago about my truck not starting when it was cold
most of you said it was the GPR, i changed it.
the problem is that it will start fine not pluged in with my super chips 1705 out and it did before i changed the GPR.
as soon as i put the chip back in it still doesent want to start, it will but i have to hold the key on and the throtle down 1/2 to 3/4 of the way, im just wonderin if my chip is fubared or if i got a bigger problem, i am driving it with out the chip right now but my fuel mileage is down 2-3mpg with out it not to mention the lack of get up
thanks for the help

it is best to start a cold truck on the stock setting..I have the DP tuner switch on the fly..I always start up in the stock setting..some times ill for get and ill start in my 80 econo and the truck has a hard time starting but unsurely will fire after a few extra cranks..sound almost like it's flooding out..you super chip lies to the PCM and dumps alot of fuel to make power rather then it changing a few things to make safe power...other guys don't have a problem..but each truck is different and changes with age..i know this doesn't help you out much..but i wish you the best of luck..

Yes, due to the tuning there have been issues with starting in extreme cold weather. These chips are more or less tuned in FL climate, so they sometimes have difficulty in other extreme climates. We are working on a fix right now. Thank you for your patience.
