Every One I Talk To Say Good Luck Trying To Get Them To Work There A Nitemare ............i Got My Trans Working Now I Cant Race Because I Cant Get Brakes To Savve My Butt......please Someone Help Before I Loose All My Hair....
maybe an expanding rubber section of a brake line. have you tryed braded lines? this was the issue with my 93 f250, and i replaced the front calipers and powerbooster, the pedal would still drop to the floor, it was the driver side fron brakeline that crapped out and was expanding like a ballon in one spot when i pressed the brakes, i upgraded both fron lines to braded hoses that i got from a machine shop for 80 bucks for the pair.
front lines are new, i just put gauge back on and pushed pedal down and gauge went from 22 slowly went to zero . if you pump pedal it rapidly goes to zero,if you hold pedal to floor gauge slowly moves back up to22. thanks jim
No vacuum will make a hard unresponsive pedal.
How new is the booster? If you installed it did you adjust the pushrod on the new one? Have you looked at your calipers? Or wheel cylinders? any leaks or weeps?
i would allmost bet the rear brakes are out of adjustment, mine did the same thing and did all the same things you did (change everything) did new brakes on back, just like new.

with the way you described that it sounds like you have a bad booster.
