Hi I have a 95 Ford Bronco eddie Bawer 5.8 engine ( I just Bouth it) and im very Happy with it but there is something that bothers me the temperature gauge goes from normal to almost 3/4 in 5 minutes when driving on street just gets to 1/2 but on the highway goes a little bit more why ? I replace the thermostat the ratiator cap the engine seems to be working great but I just don like to see that needle going Higher any suggestios will be appreciated

Sounds like the Water Pump might be going out or your radiator could be clogged. Then there is also the possibility that you are low on oil. Hope this helps, good luck!

Take a look at your fan clutch also. It may not be locking up to allow your fan to spin fast enough to suck in the proper amount of air.

Before replacing anything, check or have your 'gauge' checked.

Like the man said, first check your gauge for accuracy; pull the sender, put an extension wire to the positive connector, put a ground wire to it, and put it in some boiling water - got a portable hotplate or a camp stove?

When you find out it's OK, then order up a new radiator...
