5 bucks says its a wicked wheel and a relief valve..... or directions on how to pull the line off the waste gate and stick it on a bolt surely worth 100 bucks haha
Sounds to me like an electrical overboost eliminator. Certainly not worth $100 and certainly wouldn't buy from a douche that puts a 94-97 turbo in the picture on his listing.
this is what he responded to me with..... Relief valve and a module that keeps the truck's computer from seeing the extra boost that would cause it to defuel (check engine light). With the module installed the computer then has to add more fuel to go with the extra boost for more HP and greater throttle response! The compressor wheel is unchanged.
With the module installed it does not make the computer add more fuel, it just doesn't defuel. I wish we could leave negative feedback for something you didn't buy and shouldn't buy.
"The system consists of a wastegate relief valve which makes it open much slower and later for more boost and a pressure control module for the MAP sensor to prevent the truck's computer from seeing the extra boost (then defueling). This then makes the computer add MORE fuel for the extra boost for extra HP and greater throttle response! Installs at wastegate and inline with MAP sensor. "
