EGT Probe location?

Was trying to locate the EGT probe for my Edge, could not find it so far.

Where should it be? I thought it would be at the top of the exhaust downpipe somewhere. I do see a probe connected to the manifold, could this be it?

Thanks,

Thumbs up

If it was installed right the probe is in the drivers side exhaust manifold. can be seen by crawling under the truck.

You should send him a pic. Everyone has talked about mounting on the drivers side exhaust but no has posted a ic of where they mount it.

Thank you. That is right, I can clearly see the probe at the bottom of the drivers side manifold.

In the past someone commented that it must be installed wrong after I said what EGT I was seeing.

BBandit, Have not seen anything close to that. 875f is the max I have seen going up a small hill. I do not have a heavy trailer, only a bass boat.
