I dont wanna take my truck into ford for this because i know its someting stupid and easy.
About a week ago in my 05 the left blinker just stopped working. It then started to work all of a sudden again, but then after the truck has been running for an hour or so, it refuses to work again.
I know its not the bulbs becuase they wouldnt work period if it was. Anyone know?
ok, its not the cold. its when i turn my headlights on.
is it just a relay you think?
if i leave the lights off or put it to the parking lights its fine, but full lights kills my left blinker.
Almost sounds like a bad ground somewhere.
Pretty hard to diagnose over the 'net, but ...
I'd check the ground at the left headlight and maybe the taillight.
Sounds like when the headlight is off (and grounded) the headlight completes the ground. When the headlight is on, suddenly the ground for the signal is gone.
