Fuel Gauge sending unit
I filled up today and my fuel gauge shows just a little above half.Before I filled up the gauge showed just below half.I shut off truck at 5 tonight and restarted it at 7,still shows just above half. Have any of you had any problems like this. This is the only issue I have had since I bought it new in May of 2002. F-350 crewcab 4x4 Dually with V-10.

Yes, my sending unit was messed up for 8 months or so in my 06 F250. They fixed it last week with a complete new unit and now it works fine. The data part was all screwed up as well as the gauge. Mine just ran out at half usually but would register full when I filled it up. So basically just half the gauge worked and the data part never worked. Just said low fuel most all the time. There was another 06 in for service with the same issue I had last week.
