two-tone paint picture request
I was wondering if anyone that has the brown and bronze (sierra gold, iirc) two-tone paint could post up a picture or a link to a picture.
I'm doing all of the body work on my truck and am torn whether to stay red when i repaint or to do the two-tone. I really like the two-tone on the 73-79 trucks and just want a good look at it on an 80-86 truck.

look threw the galleries and there are a lot of trucks there you can search for your year, then look for one that has the paint you want

the 80s era tutones were the best, they bring back memories. I wonder if tutones would look good on the new trucks. A throwback edition would look......

I didn't just jump in and ask for a picture, I've already spent a couple of hours searching galleries and haven't found what i was looking for. I know this truck exists because i've parted an '80 with the paint job and i've seen it on a couple 78 and 79 bronco's.
What i'm looking for is bronze/copper between the body lines and chocolate brown above and below the body lines.

Well to be fair, those colors do not exist, or at least your names for them. If you had a Color code for the two colors it would help.
From your descriptions of the colors it sounds like you want the following colors.
Dark Chamois Metallic: Code 8A
Dark (or medium depending on liturature) Caramel Metallic: Code 5G
My truck is Dark Caramel, if you can confirm the color by checking my gallery.
Must-be-a-stangs dark sections are Dark Chamois, (well as far as a tv monitor can duplicate it etc) if you can confirm that color as well,
And What type tu-tone are you wanting, there was at least four types.
Regular
Deluxe
Combination
and victoria.
Must-be-a-stang's truck is a Victoria tu-tone. The best you could get.
The combination of the two colors you want are extremely rare though, finding an exact picture match to what you want would be very difficult.

I'm thinking that, but with the lighter color being more of an orange (or just not faded maybe?). What would the Ford name for those colors be?
EDIT: and the metallics are getting closer, i know the copper color is a metallic, but the brown i'm thinking of is just brown IIRC.
