Need help with generator!!
I need help wiring up my generator. A friend of mine give it too me, It's 12 volt off of a ford. My truck has a 226 6 cyl. and someone tried to put an alternator on it. They already have the alt. wired up for 12 volt neg. ground but, I'm not sure how to wire up the gen. The generator has G and F on top of it and a place to wire up on the back. The alternator looks like it is maybe a gm 2 wire with 2 wires on the top and one in the rear. My truck still has the gen. bracket on it so this is an easier route for me. I really need help on this and you are the only guys I can trust. Thank you JOE
