messed up timing.

Hey guys I'm going to change my spark plug wires. I was wondering that if after I do this will my timing be messed up Thanks for your help!

your timing wont change unless you move the whole distributor clockwise or counterclockwise.

Just make sure you don't get any of the wires crossed. Easiest way is to remove and replace one wire at a time. That way you make sure they all end up in the right place.

Thanks guys what brand of wires do you reccomend. I'm going to tackle this project on saturday!

messed up timing.

I use motorcraft spark plugs and wires. I put in some champions once and they went bad after about 4,500 miles, which is rediculous. Motorcraft are the ford recommended ones.

messed up timing.

I decided to go with borg warner. I did it today. only took me 2 ours. I found th eeasiest way to get to the rear passenger plug was from under neath.
