I have a DP Tuner in my 99.5 and I am disapionted in the performance. I am going to call Jody on Monday but wanted to get your opinion as well. I have had my tuner for 3 weeks now, before I had the 10k mod and it pulled much harder! Also my buddy has the Preditor set at 80 and it pulls twice as hard as my rig, it pins you in the seat when the turo spools up. Has anyone had this problem, everyone I hear that has had a different chip or tuner say the DP is the best. Mine does not even spin the tires! As ideas, I want to love my DP Tuner as well.
Something is seriously wrong. Maybe you got the wrong programming by chance. What positions did you order, and which ones feel the strongest? Do you have the F5 switch box? Call him up and see whats up.
I have the 60tow 80 ec and 120. At first i was having problems because one wire came loose in the cable and my truck was dyeing on me. They sent me a nw cable and that is fixed. The 120 seems to do nothing more than the 80ec exept more turbo surge. I do know that my turbo pedistal is leaking, but will that effect anything, also I noticed oil dripping off of the drivers side intercooler tube. I do not know what would cause this because it is coming from the bottom of the tube by the intercoler and not running down from the top.
I am getting some chattering from the turbo when I hit the throttle hard and when I let off of the throttle after hitting it hard, turbo surge I am guessing. But even before it gets to that piont the 10k mod pulled hard and the DP shows a noticable difference but it does not have that pull that pins you in the seat.
The CCV vents into the intake just before the turbo and oil collects in the piping and ends up seeping out. If oil is leaking most likely Boost is also.
