the screw is inside the trianglular shaped slot on the passenger side of the injection pump. Using a mirror and flashlight, you hand turn the engine over til you see the screw ,, sometimes hard to see, it will come up right in the point of the opening. Probably only need a flat or flat and half. too much is not good.

Timing mark on the harmonic balancer needs to be in the 1:00 position.
Use a small mirror and flashlight to see in there.
If you don't see it you are 180 degrees out on the IP, the motor needs rolled over till the timing mark is at 1:00 again.

Two rotations of the crankshaft for one revolution of the IP, so the harmonic balancer makes one complete revolution for 1/2 revolution of the IP.

harmonic balancer is the big thingie on the front end of the crankshaft .. you might know it as the pulley. It has the timing mark ( a groove) on it. that mark should be at about the 1 oclock position when you look at it from the front of the truck to see the fuel delivery screw inside the injection pump. But i find the use of a mirror and flashlight is good. Make sure to use a good allen wrench to adjust the setting becaue it is a tight turning adjustment. You will place the allen wrench toward the back of the engine and pull it forward to increase the fuel delivery. ONLY A FLAT OR FLAT AND HALF !!

I'd lean more towards the flat and a half. That's what ATS says in their directions.
