Exhaust.. Done =)

Well I got the exhaust in.. WOW!..

I ended up with a 4" Turbo back, no cat, no muffler, 6" tip.. Got it from MKO Diesel. Put it in this morning and omg.. It sounds like a 454 with headers when you stomp on it.. But it's got this sexy startup tho LOL! When I crank it, it rumbles up and then goes silent and all you hear is the turbo whine.. Sounds like a jet engine

I LOVE it! And everytime I romp it, folks turn lol..

i love a piped 6.0, personally i like the sound before the turbo whine starts up more but the turbo whine is pretty sexy

I Have A 4" Also But Now Iam Diffently Taking The Muffler Off Now!!!! The Whine Is Pretty Bad Arrsh!!

When I installed my 4" Turbo back,

I didn't install the Bully Dog muffler that came with the kit. There was ample pipe not to install it. I figured that if I ever thought it was too loud, then I could always install it. It wasn't a week before I had it posted on Evilbay and sold it for $50.

I love the sound of these things with an open exhaust system. Laws such as they are, I left the cat in, but modified the ends, inlet/outlet, to be 4" also.

It was good.. Altho I have a bad rattling/tappig noise against my firewall.. Its around 1000 rpms.. I think something may be loose.. But everything came and was the right fit.. The system was perfect.. Mark is really good with it, he'll mark all the pipes for you so you know which one goes where...

i had a rattle on mine aswell my problem was the Dp was ralaxed on the egr cooler.

No I called Mark up myself and he put a custom together..

His site is www.mkodiesels.com and he has his shop number on there.. He can do anything you want.. Mine was $335 for 4" Turbo back, Cat Delete pipe (so I can throw factory cat in for warranty), Muffler delete and 6" chrome tip..

Just installed MKO 5" with 4" dp and 6" tip on my 7.3. Very good fit and great product. My neighbor has an 03 6.0 5" straight pipe and it sounds insane. Can hear the turbo whine several blocks away.

WishIhada7.3....I'm looking into getting a 4" MBRP also...did you get turbo back or cat back? Also, is it straight piped or does it have the cat and muffler in? One more thing, if you have the cat in, how does it sound?

Today my mum and I went to lunch.. I was showin her the new tone in the exhaust.. We were at a light and I rev'n it pretty loud.. Folks around were lookin at me.. She saw this woman walkin into the starbucks.. She's like "HIT IT!".. So I rev'd it up real loud.. LOL The chick stopped from walkin in and looked around and spotted me and was just starin..

Gotta love it when the rumble of a diesel makes the panties a lil damp..

So far my favorite was when I was following a lil import with one of those funky exhausts through traffic and we came up to a light so I switched over to his right side. I looked over and he was reving it up and his girl was laughing and looking at me. So, I put it in 4wd turned on the giggle gas and as the light started to change, I brake torqued it. When the light turned green, I didn't see him again until I had slowed down for a school zone. He went past me slow enough that when I looked over, his girl was smiling at me with a different expression.
