I figured this was the only way to write this, as all the posts have been shut down.
ATTN EVERYBODY: No swearing/name calling! I want this one to last!
I can personally understand your frustration. I spent about a year getting my F-250 up and running. I had finally gotten the new ignition just right, the carb dialed in, and she was running great. I dropped my girlfriend off at home, and stopped by the local Auto Zone to get some taillights for her car. Now, I really hate this place, but apparently not as much as my truck. As I pulled into the parking spot, the brakes quit. I mean, no warning, no pedal. The stupid thing broke out two windows there, and made a new drive-through. I almost left it there. I did not want to deal with this crap anymore. After I got everything settled, I tried to sell it, but I have decided to keep it- My logic is, why spend $2000- $3000 on another vehicle, only to have more problems to deal with? Why not just put that into my truck, and do it right? So, that's where I am at. I work on it, kick it, and love it to death. I'm sure you'll find the same with yours, and welcome back.

Jared

I just think that this would all work a lot better if you guys stopped worrying about the little things and focused on whats important.

Restated. Ignore all people, worship the truck.

Duh.

That really sucks. I guess you've had an insurance claim huh?

It seems that is how things happen isn't it? I mean, I was given a car by my father-in-law. It's a Dodge Dynasty he had since it was new, and it failed emissions. He didn't need the car. I do a lot of highway driving as my wife does. She drives the economy Grand Prix and that leaves me with a Z28 or my Bronco.

So I flew up and drove it home 900 miles. Ran perfectly. Cold AC, comfortable, I don't care for Chryslers or that body style, but so what.

I get home, no problems, and have it for two days. The evening of day two I'm driving home and a spring perch snaps off for apparently no reason at all.

I get my camaro close to done, have money set aside for my exhaust system, and a tire flew off b/c the tire shop didn't tighten the lugs. Cost me a new tranny.

At the time, my Bronco was just sitting there. I get in it, drive it to the bottom of the drive way and the flywheel just shatters! Have it towed in, they replace the flywheel for me only to find out the tranny is blown.

It boils down to this:

If it has **** or tires, you're gonna have trouble!

Meeeeee chill out,
we have evidence that you my friend are the one with the attitude problem.

May I remind you of FTE Posting guideline's which you are guilty
of dissing.

You have personally attacked people on here ,Cast bad comments to admministration, moderators and users and you have the gall to tell me to chill out?

Now should we talk about the use of F ....f to users on this forum?

I really prefer to do this in private > but since you WON'T answer anyone's e-mail,

I know you will see it here.

How old are you anyway ?

Now,Regarding the original thread:

Just a reminder !

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 09-Nov-02 AT 01:39 PM (EST)]Dennis -

THANK YOU!!!!

While Bronco351 may modify his behavior after this rather public spanking, I really don't think it will happen.

I've always felt that he was more than a little hypocrital - quick to fire off on anybody, then when called on it he promptly says "I don't really mean it"..... I've yet to see positive or helpful comments or suggestions in just about anything that he posts...

I think you may be speaking for a lot of us who use these forums to exchange information and look for helpful hints.

Again, thank you

M S Autry

I have got some good advice from bronco 351 as I have from everyone on this forum. Cant we just drop this and get back to talking broncos.I have got a real challenge with my bronco (had to put it back together) and I need all the help I can get. I have been to school to learn auto mechanics and I still do not have all the answers. That is why I have found this forum so helpful.

Boy, it seems like I created a monster here. I was just mad at my truck! I didn't expect anybody to be personally insulted by my problems. I shouldn't have told that guy F you, but the first response to my post was basically telling me to shut up, and I didn't like it. Then some people supported my right to be mad at the truck and say so, then bronco351 came in and the whole thing exploded. I'm not mad at anyone, bronco351 gave me a bad feedback and I gave him one back. But enough. I'm going to swap out the starter now. I feel like one of the previous posters said, why get another vehicle and start all over again fixing parts? I was going to try and get something for around $10,000, and use the Bronco sale money for the down payment. But then I am back to car payments, which is exactly what I don't want. So hopefully it will indeed be the starter making all the noise, we put it on a rack and pulled the inspection plug, and could hear it.

Denis, Let's just forget this whole thing ever happened. And just so that everyone is on the same page here, I didn't want to give you 2 negative feed backs. th efirst one I posted didn't seem to show up. So I wrote another one. I will go ahead and give you a positive point for that 2nd negative feed back. Sorry! As for web master if you look at the original post there were other people that agreed with me as regards to the closing of the post. Just because you guys are the administrators doesn't mean that you can't get negative feed back's right. By the way I think that I wasn't he only one to say anything bad in the original JBRONCO post. There was another user there that did use vulgar language. According to the rules that you have posted I have never violated any of tyhose. You can go ahead and check all my posts. Hope this problem can be resolved and put behind us!!

Jbronco. I didn't give you a negaoitive feed back I gave you a neutral one. I do apoligize for that Piece of dung comment. As for Maustry why did you give me a negative feed back. What is your reason. I don't see a comment thre. I sthis because what I said about your Bronco a month ago. Here is what I said. Your truck doesn't look as big as you say itis!! I don't hink that called for a negative feedback. And if this is the reason why didn't you give it to me a month ago when this incident occured.
