Do I need TWO special socket tools?

Do I need TWO special socket tools?

Pulling hubs off a 1990 F-250 extended cab 4x4 with a Dana 50 front axle. I bought the special socket tool that fits the slots in the lock ring. That's great. Now behind the lock ring we have the adjusting nut that has four ears on it. Is the tool designed to engage both of these parts or do I need another socket?

That's not the adjusting nut, that's the lock ring you're into, grab it with a couple pairs of needle nose pliers and pull it out of there, there's another nut behind it.

Right. Thanks. I figured that out in the light of day. It all came apart easily after the lock washers were out.

Ok. So here is another question. Is the seal between the axle and the spindle available Napa or Autozone? I don't need the torrington bearing in the spindle- it looks fine- only the seal. I can't seem to find a source, and mine are trashed.
