UPGRADE IDEAS!!!
Hey guys, I'm fresh out of ideas on what to do oon my 1990 Bronco. It has a 5.8L (351) EFI. So far I have put high performane ignition wires, new spark plugs, since the engine was rebuilt I'm pretty sure it has been bored .10 over. If not how much does an engine get bored when rebuilding it. Anyway I need some ideas on how to upgrade the cooling and engine performance. i'm not intersested in gear swaps. I just want to increase the out put of my engine!!! THANKS for your help!!!

How about for starters a K&N FIPK (Fuel Injection Performance Kit) then maybe some headers, ooooh, and since I am going for the "unlimited budget" possibilities, what about a nice new High volume intake. Edelbock makes a really cool one that can handle their twin 61mm bore throttle body. Truth is, these are the mods i'm working on for my 302 at the moment. All of these are available for the 351 as well. Already got the headers and the FIPK on it...just saving for the intake and throttle body.

http://performanceunlimited.com/projectmpg/aircleaner.html They found the FIPK , while slightly higher in HP, was lower in torque & MPG than the drop-in with insulation on the fresh air ducts.
