New fuel pickup
On the new truck I am building I am putting on a FASS high flow regulated return system. The pickup is from ITP with a new 5/8 SS line with a huge 90* on top of the sending unit. The question in this post is has anyone else put a larger pickup with bigger lines in? Did you ave to cut any of the bed cross members to get the tank up in?

I was looking at it for a while and decided I would never need that much volume. There is plenty of room above the tank for the elbow so nothing should need to be cut.

That is what i thought too but it sure is tight. fits but real tight and i think tomorrow i am going to take it out and do a little cutting. I put it right where they have theirs in theie pic too.

I have plans of putting the same ITP fuel pickup in my tank, so I'll be curious to see how it goes for you. Of course, if you wanted some big time fuel flow, you could always put a sump on the bottom of the tank.

Pick up and tank is back in. I did have to cut a healthy chunk of the bed support out. so if you do this pickup and dont want to cut dont put the pickup were there directions show. the elbow they send is just to tall to fit.
