Oil Dye

I put four ounces of Ford oil dye in my PSD 6.0 before taking it in for the tech to look for an oil leak. It will be a couple weeks before I can get it back for repair. Is there any problem with the dye remaining in the oil for an extended period? I wouldn't think so, but thought I'd ask.

Not usually a problem. The only problem that may result is depending on the severity of the leak, that there will be too much dye all over the place it might make it hard to trace where it is coming from. As far as your engine is concerned, it will cause no harm.
