Engine Oil Leak dye?
As many of you know that was a RRE or RRW.. I have an ongoing oil leak.

I found this stuff.

Multi-Purpose Dye Oil/Fuel Uv Dye - 6 Pk. - xxxw-rob16268

Anybody got any luck with it or even try it?

Hey Andrew, I had this test done when my truck was under warranty, when my turbo O-rings were leaking, before FTE of course. I think you need an infra-red light, don't yaa?? Do you have one if you do need it??

It's a UV light -- and IMHO, the oil is dyed bye the soot a nice dark black. Pretty easy to see. LOL!

Ahh, thanks Joe, I knew it was one of those lights . Can't believe you haven't found this leak with all these resources here at FTE. Do you have an idea where its coming from????
