Fuel Pressure Regulator tick

I have a 1995 F250 with a 351w in it and I can hear a ticking sound coming from the fuel pressure regulator (at the end of the fuel rail) and I was wondering if anyone else has this trouble/sound?

Does that mean that the regulator is going?

Anyone replaced a fuel regulator before?

If there is no gas in the vacuum port, then it is fine. Sure it's not injector tick that you hear?

the tick can be felt at the regulator, but it is mounted on the fuel rail so it may be. Is that common?

Injector tick is. I never really paid attention to the regulator itself.

Is injector tick a sign of bad injectors? Did you replace yours? Did you just replace one or all eight (6 or 10)

No, it is normal for them to tick. That is the pintle inside opening and closing.

I talked to Ken at Fordparts.com he told me you don't have to replace all of them.

No just noise drives me nuts, and I want to replace any sort of noise under the hood if I can. But for $75.00 each I think I'll just turn up the radio.
