Marco (one of the shop techs) has over 25k on some 37s and they still have a lot of tread left/ hardly show any wear.
Steve (another shop guy) runs the 38s and is very pleased with them.
Noise wise, they are slightly louder than Toyos when new.....but after about 5k on both, the Kuhmos are slightly quieter.
And of course, they are priced pretty well when compared to the other tires available.
I was going to run some 38" Kuhmos on my truck....but came across a steal on some slightly used 40" Toyos and I couldn't pass them up.
On the 2008....there are a few things that are different.
The trac bar bracket is different.....but since the 4.5" DR uses an adjustable trac bar, it works.
The sway bar setup is different....so custom sway bar links.
In the rear, the leaf springs are longer, but the DR 4.5" uses blocks...so that wasn't an issue.
08 wheel wells are bigger...hence fitting the 37s (they did pull back the inner fender liner too).
dcspecial...that looks awesome...i spent a while looking at all the trucks on the truck toyz website and you guys do perfect work...i have only seen 2 or 3 truck around here thaat look half as good as alot of the ones in the website gallery...definatley something to be proud of...i hated the 08's but you changed my mind...
