Hey guys, I figured all you car buffs would like this one out there...even if it IS a Pontiac GTO. This is a buddy of mine's car and he's done some solid work to it.
Notice: There is a bit of language in the videos so if you're offensive to a bit of language then don't watch.
Sorry guys, I had to take the vid's down. Frank, I guess, doesn't want them up there anymore.
Anyway, he's running Borla Exhaust, JBA headers, and a Tune on the 5.7. A buddy of mine has a 6.0 Goat though and his is quick as well. Another one of my friends has an old, late 80's Camaro IRoc-Z with a rebuilt 5.7 and an Auto. My buddy has a Mustang with 4.10's and SLP exhaust. I want to see that race!
saw the 1st customized goat in town the other day. looked like it came factory with rims/kit on it, although it really lost the true factory look. i personally liked it better than stock. red light kept me from seeing it "up close", but from what i saw, it was great. any chance you have a link to the burnout?!?
I had a 66 GTO that would do the same thing.389 .tri power and a set of Hooker headers running to a Muncie close ratio 4 speed tranny. I wish I had it back. Midnight blue...
wrobo, I'd like to post the video again but he probably wouldn't like that. If I can figure out how to blank out voices and stuff then I'll be glad to post it again.
I know I wouldn't like to have a run in with a GTO cop car because even my buddy's is fast .. extremely fast... and it wouldn't take but a cop on a tricycle to catch my car haha
I saw a GTO in South Dakota right near Mt Rushmore a couple years back. Kinda funny, it was the only other car in the parking lot, and I just couldn't figure out where the big-v8 rumble was coming from until he pulled out of the parking lot. I thought it was a Toyota or Nissan until he got on it.
