Drivetrain making noises
I just replaced all the u-joints on my '86, and I am still hearing almost a clicking noise, especially when moving at slow speeds, its like I can hear a loud click or clack every revolution turning over. Things are vibrating so much that my 4WD gearshift stick is popping out of the selected range I put it in. This is happening in both 2WD and 4WD operation. It is driving me buggy! I have recently changed the rear diff oil, and all 5 u-joints. Nothing is loose, I torqued all bolts to specs, yet something sounds wrong.

Just a guess at this point but T-case problems? If everything beyond the T-case is fine and the tranny shifts ok its kind of a process-of-elimiation situation.
I assume the centering ball etc. in the double-cardon joint was replaced when the U-joints were done.
