exhaust leak
In the last couple of days i've noticed water leaking from 2 different points in the exhaust system--both before the muffler. I know water coming out the end of the tailpipe is common but I was wondering if the leaking at these 2 points indicates there's something wrong with the exhaust system that would compromise air flow out or something. Anything to worry about? Thanks.

Some mufflers/pipes have pin holes on purpose for water to drain from. If yours is leaking from a clamped joint, I would just check to make sure it's tight, but wouldn't worry beyond that. If it's leaking from an intentional looking hole, then it's doing what it's supposed to do.

Red, my truck also leaks in front of the muffler, it will actually leave a puddle about 6 inches across in a very short time if left idling. Has done it as long as I've had the truck, and I haven't had any other exhaust problems.
