I would so a search first to see if you can find the answer first - maybe someone already has a thread going about the exact same thing. To do that, look right about where you are reading this. There is a blue bar that runs across the screen and has some choices in it like User CP, FAQ, etc. On over to the right, there is a 'Search' button. Click it, and enter your search word(s). let's say you have an F350 and are having problems with the EGR. Type F350 EGR in the box and click search. That will bring you up all the threads/posts that have those keywords in it.
If the search doesn't help, look at the list of forums here:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/index.php
Choose the forum that best fits your thread. Click the name and enter the forum. After that, you will see a list of threads in that forum. Right above that and to the left is a button that says 'New Topic'. Click it and enter your text.
It is basically the same thing as you did in here - you will just do it in a different forum that deals with what you are looking for.
