I'm putting my truck up for sale to buy a 74 bronco. Just curious on what you guys think I should price it at? Here's specs:
1989 Bronco Eddie Bauer
106100 mi
new 5.0L engine w/ less than 10k mi.
rebuilt transmission
K&N filter
new alternator
new ac (w/ new compressor)
new belts, hoses, wires and spark plugs
new set of warn premium hubs
4" Rancho suspension lift
33x12.5 General MTs on 15x10 MB motoring wheels
4 new speakers (kenwood in the front, infinity in the back)
cruise control, power locks, doors
Interior is very very clean, upholstery is perfect except for the one hole in the driver's seat that every bronco seems to have. Outside could use a little work. I would say the exterior is in fair condition, considering the age.
and theres pics in my profile.
I'm thinking of putting it in the paper for 10?
Let me say I honestly hope you get $10k for it. Here in MS, the same bronco is getting around 4k-5k (even with your new stuff and lift). Last week a 94 EB w/351 w/ 99,000 miles came through the auction and only brought $2900. This thing was in great shape w/no dents and leather. I bought my 95 EB w/351 from a grocery getter 11 months ago for $5k. Let me say it again--I hope you get $10k for it b/c if you do I will ship mine to you and let you sell it.
I say good luck trying to get $10k. I bought a 1988 Eddie Bauer 351 EFI with newly rebuilt engine and tranny, a new radiator(possibly relatively new A/C as well), and new 32" tires for $3k. I put $1500 into it(including a soft top) and now it runs and looks great.
The guy who owned it before me had put over $4000 into it the year before on all of the above mentioned stuff.

I just bought another 88 Bronco (I have one currently). The one I just bought is Black / Grey Interior with 86K on a original 302. The paint is perfect, and I can almost bet this truck has never seen anything but pavement. It rides tight, and is the cleanest 14 year old truck I've ever seen. I paid $3200.
Unfortunately, rebuilt stuff doesn't get you very far. You can never recoup what you've put into the truck.
Good Luck on 10K though.
