I have the stock headlights. I found that covers impaired my vision and took them off. Tailights on the other hand...I am looking into that. Joe

I too had the smoked covers, but I like to see where I'm going so I took them off. I have the angle slotted tail light covers.

My $.02 worth ........ No smoke covers. No doubt, they LOOK good. Front smokes reduce the already marginal light put out by the headlights. Rear smokes, make sure your headrest is adjusted correctly, reduces whiplash when you get rear ended. A good extra heavy duty rear bumper should come with smoke tail light covers. Oh, get a smoke cover for the 3rd brake light too...

I had Depo clear heads and corners, I am putting on HD heads with clear corners now, the depo's got broken in a wreck, other than that they looked and worked great.

aren't smoked covers for offroad use anyways? just curious (i'm assuming y'all are talking about the ones that cover your whole headlight assembly?). as stated, too dull already to cover the light any more up. i'd suggest tail guards vs covers, just my opinion.

I have the Lightning style heads & Lightning clear corners I really love them .I had smoked covers over the stock heads before. I like them , but at night you couldn`t see with then on.
Ilike the TYC Lightning heads alot better.I have the corners to match them with. But I got a set of depo clear ones,& they look good. I just got a new set of lightning OEM Lightning tails .So I`m done with the lights for now.

Try the clear projectors! I replaced my stock assemblys and love them. Pick em up on Ebay for about $50. Throw some White bulbs in there and they are sweet!!

I ended up with some aftermarket replicas for the corners, lined up perfect and look exactly like a lightning corner. Price is right too, $100 cdn for a set compared to a dealership that wants $120 each.

The make of them are called "Depo", I ordered them from Vancouver Canada. You are from the US correct? You have an advantage over us up here in Canada, there are alot more aftermarket stores available to you. See if you can just tell them the name of the product, I'm sure the ones I got are originally from the US. Make sure you get the direct replacement Lightning ones because they offer another style that are not street legal and look a little funkier. If you are still having problems locating them I will try to get you a part number and info from where their suppliers are. Just PM if you get stumped.
