A.E Quick Question
Im about a minute away from ordering the total ford bundle, quick question before i buy early. There is talk about dealer only stuff coming out and i was wondering if bought it if i can up date to it, or should i wait to get it?

I am with you on that. I am still scrimping away looking at the AE. From what I understand, all updates are supposed to be free as part of the purchase. Now you bring up the point about how Ford may be moving to new software. I too am curious what with the advent of the tamperproof 6.4.
From what I have seen, Dennis at ITP has a good price and is also very responsive in his sites AE forum. Might want to check it out. Post what you find.

Well, i went ahead and bought it. Ive wanted it for a long time and was sitting on sunday debating buying it and i could not get it out of my head so i just went and bought it. I have some issues with my truck that needs to be address and this well help me, and since all the vechicals in my driveways are fords, it will work on those as well.

Same here, all FORD. But I needed a new laptop, well, then there was VISTA, well then some $800 later I have that, and can acess FTE on the road, like I go anywhere but I can do it if I need to. 
Now I am awaiting a birthday, trying to convince the extended family to pony up some cash for the domestic bundle. We'll see how it goes. Where did you get yours?

I just fabbed up one for my patrol car. It will work in my truck too. I kinda made it like the one on autolaptoplink.com. I had a lot of fun bending plexiglass. What a hoot. I have a prototype at present. If all goes well, I will do another better one (plate that is). Learned a few things. I still have issues with the locking swivel, I hope to sort them out here in the next few days.

con grads on the AE..I love mine and it has paid for its self already..the online help is great and Dennis is a great guy for help..after you get your AE keep an eye on this site for updates after you open it up click on down loads..and see if a down load is available for your PC..good luck..
