i recently purchased a 1976 f100 ranger, i wanna take off the moldings that are on there and put what i think is called the race stlye moldings but i can't seem to find the moldings that run down around the wheel wells and throught the truck. lmc magazines does not show them. the moldings are like the 1979 stlye.
where can i look??
I am on ebay all the time . I see them on there all the time. You have to get them peice by peice most of the time. Whole sets seem to go for a big price. I am slowly getting the lower rocker moulds for my truck. I have the tool box on the right bed side and stil need those. If I see them I will try to let you know. Erv
I just saw that you are in Tx. There is a seller on ebay I buy from all the time. He goes by selltheold. He lives in Jashua if that is close to you. Go on ebay and do a search with his user name, and ask him. He seem to be a very nice guy. Has always been fair with me
I have complete passenger side race-track (upper and lower) off a 1979. Mostly good shape, 80% I'd say. Some dings and scratches, but looks pretty good from 10' away. It is factory ford (not a replacement), and I don't need a fortune for it. Trick is, no way I will try to pack and ship it - I've tried longer items before and they kill ya for it. Truck is in Monument, Colorado. I make occasional trips to Santa Fe and to the Northeast corner of South Dakota.
Hi, check out this # 280082199269 on ebay. It is not the race track trim, but I think all you have to change is the pieces by the lights to get the lower trim to fit. Also check the shipping price before you bid. The long peices get pretty pricey. Erv
That's news to me, the Lower mouldings have never been available.
Just the Upper mouldings.
That is what their site leads you to believe yes. However I'd call them to make absolutely sure first. Their meaning of complete and my meaning of complete may be different.
They also list just the upper molding seperate for each side for the 1977-1979. And is about $261 less if you bought just both upper kits, than if you bought the complete kit.
And they are charging you the $261 for something...
But as I said, I'd check to make sure, by calling them.
And they also list the non race track style for 1973-1979.
