I have a MTX 250 watt mono sub amp, it fit just fine under the passenger front seat.

I think it's the MTX Thunder 251D amp. It's pretty small, like 12 inches long by 8 inches wide.

Someone wrote that an amp will fit behind the back seats, I have mine under the passenger seat also but will check out the back seat thing when warmer weather gets here.

Thanks all
They ended up puting it under the driver seat but it is direcly in front of the rear floor heater duct. It also sticks out behind the seat where my kids feet are going to be. WFT? I think I should have them move it?
Any thoughts?
let me know
Thanks!
Chris

You wouldn't think the heat blowing on it would be very good for it. I planned on putting a four channel and a mono behind the rear seat. I checked with my installer and he has done them that way. He said there was plenty of room. No dripping feet on them either.

if you are looking for a place to mount the amp and dont need to get to it on a regular basis there is plenty of room behind the rear seat on the back wall. its a little rough to remove the back rest portion of the seat but is well worth it in the long run. i have my two amps and also xm reciever mounted there. makes a very clean install
