What was I looking at?
Was in town this morning and seen the front end of a SD that I asume was an 07 or 08 and did I see right? Noticed the grill to be alittle different...lots of chrome, similiar to the 05's and 06's but there was lacking the painted portion between it and the bumper....in other words the grill sitting on top of the all chrome bumper....real similar to what some of us have done with our older SD's, installing the 05-06 grill modified to fit our trucks.
Was this an 07 or 08 I was looking at?

Didn't have enough time to read the top of the grill.....was trying to "digest" everything else I was looking at. I'd guess that this was a new one bacause it looked like it just came off the show room floor.

I find it interesting the mostly negative remarks from most of you. I know that us "7.3'ers" love our trucks, me included and I will be content to driving mine untill the wheels fall off!
In viewing the link that was posted....I like the exterior look but the dash....that leaves a whole lot to be desired! Looks like an airplane instrument panel to me.
Just my .02 worth.

i dont have any problems with the interior dash, i hate the way they changed the headlights/signals, it looks to funky, the 07 headlight seem better, also not sure about having the superduty logo in the grill, i guess i will have to see them for real instaed of a picture

I sat in one at the auto show and it felt nice. I only like it because it now has navigation, and power telescoping mirrors that all you do is hold down a toggle switch and they come out...I wanted to unbolt them and run but that would be unethical and way to hard lol. I wonder how it will performe against dodge's new 6.7L cummins that is comming out.

One more thing....
I forgot to add that I'm not real impressed with that huge "sign" that is on the fenders just ahead of the door hinge. I'm going to miss the famous lower door badge that denotes the Diesel......real easy way to tell if another Super Duty is a Diesel...6.0 or 7.3
