Cody, see if the machinist will cc the combustion chamber and calc actual cr once all machining etc is done. This won't help a bunch as were comparing pump gas but...man what a build! I'm keyed in to see how those 4v heads work(what year etc?)
I'll see what i can do, i can't promise anything though, we'll do a compression test before we fire it up in about a month or so (i have 2 months before i graduate out of the welding engineering program here in calgary, and the family farm come first) As far as the heads i believe that they are a set of D0's, so 70's, i do know that they're the first year of the 4v quench heads and the block they came off of was a factory 2bolt 4v block.
Lol you think you're excited i can hardly wait, and i still have to get my driveshafts upgraded so i'll quit fubaring the front shaft . You'll have to come out to one of the mud bogs this summer and see the thing run too, and i can see your's as well .
Is your truck an automatic? I am having my 434 balanced today and my truck has a manual transmission, so I had to go with a flywhell. My flywheel is from Centerforce and is counter balanced so my engine builder has to machine it to make it neutral balanced.
My truck is automatic, I had my flex plate zero balanced at a machine shop.
