Most of the tuners don't care what vehicle it fits, just the engine type. The escape is a little SUV, and I don't know what engines were available in it. However, I can't seem to find a hypertech or supechip for your application. You might try SCT or Sniper to see if they have your calibration code. If not, you will need a cutom tune, probably on a dyno.
We could easily get BamaChips to do some custom tuning for ANY ford vehicle! Now I couldnt give you dyno numbers on an 07 escape but I am sure we could definitely make some noticeable improvements.
Do you know if they could do a tune to get a little more low end out of the duratec 3.0? If so what would the chip run? I only have had some experience with supertech chips in a '92 explorer and had idleing issues with it. I had a rv cam installed and the supertech would barely let it idle.
Tuners have changed a lot since the chips, we can easily get you some tunes for torque.
The tuners come with three tunes, and we can use any octane you would like, any where from regular, midgrade, premium, or race fuel.
The three most common tunes are
87 Performance
High octane Performance
High octane Torque
There are a couple different pieces of hardware to choose from, all will carry the same BamaChips custom tuning files, though they each have different independent features.
