Late last year I had an issue with "lean banks" as well as the P0401 (EGR low flow) on '02 4.0L Sport Trac. I found the P0173 and P0174 vacuum leaks. But the EGR P0401 came back on after initially clearing all the codes.
I replaced the EGR valve, cleared the code (using a code reader) and within a day it was back on. I was going to go after DPFE sensor next, but I thought if were that, I would have gotten the DPFE Sensor voltage code?
