Just got back from a test drive, Man it's nice to have the beast back. After cleaning the IPR (thanks Pop & Kris for the link) and getting the 1280 code, I decided to wait until the IPC sensor I won in e-bay ($76.30 to my door) got here. I rechecked everything and installed the new sensor. Stumbled just a bit upon first start. Smoothed out soon and after a 30 mile run (hard run) never missed a beat. Mainly NO CODES.
Is it possible that both the ICP and IPR had issues? Seemed that both had some affect on performance. Truck has not ran this good in some time. It even seems to have less knocking. Don't know if these could affect the knocking or not. I hope that has my problem fixed for now.
Thanks for the help, guys. Time to go park the 91 S-10 behind the camper again.
